The Team

Those who are keen to have a more vested interest to drive the overall strategy and internal processes that support our organization.

1. As a member of the TSD Team, you are intrinsically joining us as a de facto member of a startup. Remember, we do run our operations very differently from other businesses based on a modified Cooperative model.
2. You should have professional skills, experience, portfolio, or are willing to develop them.
3. What to expect as a Member of the TSD Team
   1. Commitment: You will be a formally contracted member of the TSD Team with a commitment to fulfill your duty, roles and tasks as a responsible member.
   2. State a Subject Matter area and determine your mastery and level of expertise: Choose an area of you are interested or skilled in and base it on the Subject-Matter Mastery Framework.
   3. Design Your Own Role/ Jobscope: You craft and design your own jobscope. Follow the steps below to design your own jobscope
   4. Define your Financial Remuneration Expectations based on a Profit-sharing Model or Fixed-Rate Basis

1. Executive - Strategic Planning, Metrics, Corporate Communications
2. Operations - Admin, HR, Finance and Accounts, IT, Estate and Resources
3. Business Development - Product Development, Marketing and Sales, Customer Relations, Recruitment and Partnerships, Research and Development
4. Specialists' Workgroup - Grouped by subject matter specialization, product portfolio or service rendered

1. Manager - You are to set direction of the Workgroup, ensure that everyone in the team is aligned.
2. Support - You are the backbone for the organisation, ensuring that the operational processes go smoothly and support all the activities and projects that TSD is involved with.
3. Advisory - You agree to provide advisory and guidance for both the organisation or for any of the projects that we oversee. Your name will be prominently displayed for any of the organisational operations and projects that you actively involved in.

1. Meetings and Workblocks

• Start-of-the-day Tasks
  1. Open the Intranet and refer to the organisation Dashboards: Containing announcements, Calendars and to-dos.
  2. Check on your group dashboard pages for updates as well.
• Pre-arranged 3Hr Blocks Collaborative Workgroup Sessions (if required)
  1. If there are pre-arranged 3Hr Workgroup Session, work collaboratively either synchronously or asynchronously on projects with your team or group members.
• Scheduled Weekly 1Hr Meetings (If required)
  1. Attend scheduled weekly meetings either in real-time or off-line for the entire team to get updates from each other and build relationships with one another.

2. When there are “war-time” Professional projects

• Focus on completing Project goals, milestones, tasks and deadlines with high-quality work ethic.

3. When there are no Professional Projects:

• Commit time to “peacetime” Projects
  1. Developing Projects: e.g. Develop personal Portfolio, develop organisational systems and processes, develop new or existing programmes and services.
  2. Outreach Projects: e.g. Read, share and write articles on our Publications, take part in campaign activities.
  3. Research Projects: Take part in Learning, R&D Activities.
• Submit Project Updates and Reviews
  1. Update your progress on your projects by writing a blog article, or conduct self-reflection on your own portfolio as project requirements.
